Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy*
The Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy* teaches the assessment and treatment of clients using Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, as well as the rapid and effective techniques of inducing the hypnotic state. It provides a wide base of underpinning knowledge so that our students are equipped with techniques to deal with the wide range of problems that present today.

The Australian and Pacific College of Clinical Hypnotherapy teaches students the proper techniques and skills to use, including how to put those skills into practice at variable depths of hypnosis. We have designed this course carefully to teach students how to deal with the realities of clients, from the time they walk in the door, to the time they leave. And, of course, how to get them there in the first place.

- Relevant history of hypnosis
- The therapeutic relationship and Professional Ethics
- Theory of Mind and Hypnosis
- Psychotherapy approach to client problems
- Client assessment and prognosis
- Indications and Contra-indications for the use of hypnosis
- Inductions and Rapid Inductions for inducing the hypnotic state
- Waking techniques
- Designing appropriate therapies
- Practical applications of techniques
Strategies for dealing with specific client problems, including:
- Addictions; and more.
Special techniques of:
- Self hypnosis
- The Goulding Process
- Age Regression and Past Lives; and
- how to bring it all together
To receive the Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy*, students must pass both theoretical and practical examinations, demonstrating to the APCCH Examination Board a satisfactory standard of competency. Graduates may then apply to recognised associations like the Australian Association of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy Inc (AACHP), Australian Hypnotherapists Association (AHA) , Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists (ASCH), and Professional Clinical Hypnotherapists of Australia Inc (PCHA) for membership.
